Data Storage

Data storage settings govern what the platform keeps, for how long, and how it is protected — the levers behind the data tiers.

Storage tier

The tier determines whether verification data persists beyond a session:

  • Session-based — nothing is kept after the session; the lightest privacy footprint.
  • Stored — Customer and Digital Identity records, captured images, and audit history are retained, unlocking the back office and fraud tooling.

The tier is part of the Company's plan; this page reflects the active tier and its implications.

Optional features

The same page shows which optional features are enabled for the tenant. Both require the Stored tier and are enabled by Innovatrics as part of the plan:

FeatureWhen enabled
1:N biometric identificationWorkflows can run the face duplicity check and the watchlist actions; the Duplicates tab appears in the back office.
Palm verificationWorkflows can use the palm capture and matching steps, the Palm Trust Factors section appears in IDV Configuration, and the Palms tab appears in the back office — see Palm Verification.

When a feature is off, workflows that reference its steps fail validation and its settings and tabs are hidden.
